Recipe Tips:

The big secret to tender, sweet corn on the cob is getting the freshest corn possible. Buy corn on the cob unhusked and husk it yourself. Get it at the farmers market, or a parking lot vendor, or anybody who picked it fresh this morning.

Another secret: Don't overcook your corn on the cob! And don't add salt to the cooking water - that will make your corn tough! (some people add a bit of sugar). Add salt at the table if you want it.

All you need for this recipe are 1 - 2 ears of corn per person, a big wide pot, an oven or a grill, and plenty of napkins!
