Vegan For Her Book Giveaway

Vegan for Her by Virginia Messina, MPH, RD, co-author of the essential vegan nutrition guide, Vegan For Life, with recipes by J.L. Fields.

Vegan for Her, like Vegan For Life, focuses on vegan nutrition and health. But Vegan For Her focuses on those topics for women, and even more on womens’ health, which is wonderful, because womens’ unique health issues have been neglected by medical research and the medical profession.

Any woman who wants to achieve optimum health can benefit from this informative, helpful and supportive book, whether or not she is vegan, or wants to go vegan.

As a busy female who works full time, trying to start a business on the side and taking care of my 91 year old dad and 10 year old doggy i find it necessary to try and also stay at the top of my own game by taking care of ME with the little time i have left in the day. I search for ways to eat healthy and mostly vegan (occasional fish) which can be difficult with such a busy schedule. This book is on my must read list and i dearly would love to win it:)

With more & more community gardens, help with starting backyard gardens, & the lovely & increasing number of farmers markets, as well as CSA opportunities, using veggies in healthful ways is so valuable.
