For a children's party, we like to frost chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting, and cover them with sprinkles.
Recipe Variations: Substitute different flavors for the vanilla, add lemon or orange zest, substitute citrus juice for 2 Tblsp of almond milk.
Change the color with food coloring, substitute vegan cream cheese for the vegan spread and leave out the almond milk.
