Our bodies are 90% water, so we need to drink a lot of it - two quarts a day minimum, more if you're athletic, dehydrated, ill, fasting or dieting. And we need to drink clean pure water, which unfortunately doesn't always come out of the tap. Read Bottled Water or the article Water, Elixer of Life, for info about water and minerals.
Herbal teas are a great way to stay hydrated and get vitamins, minerals and energy - without calories. Juicing is another way to drink healthy. Dairy and non-dairy drinks, almond, soy and rice milk, protein shakes - the possibilites are endless. So are the not so healthy possibilities. Minimize or avoid soft drinks, coffee, big glasses of cold milk, and fake juices.
