Life Coaching for Healthy Vegetarian Diet and Lifestyle

The Savvy Vegetarian offers life coaching to help you become a successful vegetarian. If you're having difficulties with any aspects of vegetarianism - healthy diet, nutrition information, vegetarian cooking, shopping at whole foods grocery stores, social adjustment, etc., life coaching is for you. If you don't have time to find the answers to your questions, or sort truth from fiction, this is for you. If you are overwhelmed by all the changes you have to go through to be vegetarian, and are thinking of going back to a diet of Big Macs, this is for you.

Life coaching will increase your confidence, shorten the learning curve, and smooth the way to becoming vegetarian. We help you make the vegetarian transition in a stress-free, enjoyable way, without alienating your family, partner, friends, and co-workers.

In life coaching for vegetarians, we offer a simple, practical, balanced approach, emphasizing a gradual transition to vegetarianism. Becoming vegetarian is a major lifestyle change, as stressful as immigrating to a new country with a different language, culture, and climate. New vegetarians must balance adapting to a vegetarian lifestyle with meeting their nutritional needs. There is a lot to learn about vegetarian nutrition, vegetarian cooking, and social skills (diplomacy). Our role is to guide you to an understanding of your particular needs as a vegetarian, and how best to meet them.

At Savvy Vegetarian, our boundaries are fairly loose. We are committed to organic agriculture, and all other earthfriendly practices, but, we're not very politically correct. We try to avoid endorsing particular vegetarian diets, labels, categories, causes, and positions, because we feel that these box people in, giving them no room to maneuver. Becoming vegetarian isn't an all-or-nothing proposition. It takes some years to make a complete, comfortable transition to vegetarianism, and there can be much going back and forth. The Savvy Vegetarian coach, Judy Kingsbury, is an ovo-lacto vegetarian, with over thirty years experience in traditional and modern approaches to vegetarianism. She has raised three vegetarian children, and has helped many people of all ages to be happy, healthy vegetarians. Go to the bio page for a complete introduction.

Before your first coaching session, we ask you to complete a client profile, so you don't have to pay the coach for getting acquainted. We record each session, so we can both have a reference for future sessions. All of your information is secure, and will be shared only with you.
