The Easiest Chocolate Cake I Ever Baked
The family demanded chocolate cake, and I rose to the occasion! My sister Sarah recommended a one-bowl recipe from Cabbages and Roses. It was rich, moist, and it was the easiest cake I’ve ever baked!
Think I’m going to have to buy that cookbook!
For frosting, I made Chocolate-Lime cream cheese frosting. I used the frosting recipe at the bottom of Carrot cake with everything I replaced the lemon juice and zest with lime juice and zest. I also stirred in two squares of melted bakers chocolate to make it super chocolaty.
The cake was a hit! The lime in the frosting added a special zip, and I’m going to have to move fast if I want seconds!
