Here are some recommendations for reading material and links: In the Resource section of Savvy Vegetarian, under Vegetarian Diet, in the books section, you'll find a review of 'Becoming Vegetarian' by Vesanto Melina et al, a very useful vegetarian nutrition reference for all vegetarians. Also in the SV Resource Section, under Women's Health are many references and reviews to articles, books, sites and magazines about childbearing and pregnancy. Many women I know, from ages 18 to 40, have had healthy vegetarian pregnancies and have given birth to beautiful healthy children. That is what I want for you. I applaud you for being wise and caring enough to make sure that your body is ready for pregnancy. I wish you a blissful pregnancy and motherhood. I would love to hear from you how things are going in the baby project. I have three grown daughters and three grandchildren, and the subject is dear to my heart. Hope this helps!
