Hot Water With Lemon And HoneySimple, Delicious Digestive Tonic, Great First Thing In The MorningThis is just hot water, with fresh lemon juice and honey added - warm lemonade. It's also an effective healing and digestive tonic. For variety, use lime instead of lemon. One important point to remember is that according to Ayurveda, honey shouldn't be heated overly much as it becomes toxic, so use hot but not boiling water for this. Use an organic lemon and raw honey to get the maxiumum benefit from this simple but satisfying drink. Children love it too, but not with ginger! Ingredients and Directions
