When I was a kid summer meant living in my bathing suit and flip flops. And eating popsicles, ice cream & other frozen treats.
While I no longer spend my summers swimming & reading, I still enjoy a cold, creamy treat on a hot summer day.
I used to believe that guacamole was the ultimate in all things avocado, but then I tried this sorbet. After finishing this creamy, sweet, and tart confection, you may be tempted to lick the bowl clean.
This recipe is very sweet, but you can substitute a ripe banana and/or a little agave syrup or stevia drops for part or all of the sugar.

...made it tonight in the ice cream maker. I am BLOWN AWAY!!!! We didn't bother with straining it through a mesh sieve...just blended it in the blender. - Jenna T.
Just made the avocado-lime-sorbet and I'll have to say yum! Well worth making if you don't eat it all before it's time ;) I also didn't strain it and love the little bits of lime in it. This receipt is a keeper, thanks so much - Patricia J.
